Our story
Founder and President Kyle Maxwell got his start in 2007 at his father's construction company, where he learned the craft from the ground up. In 2011, he founded Bigfoot Roofing & Construction in Jacksonville, Florida — with a simple goal: do the job right, treat people honestly, and build a company the community could count on.
Bigfoot has been family-owned and operated since day one. Over 15+ years, we've grown from a single Northeast Florida operation to five offices spanning the state — from Jacksonville and Fernandina Beach in the north to Oviedo and Lakeland in Central Florida — while staying true to the same standards that launched us.
Today, Bigfoot is one of only a small number of Owens Corning Platinum Preferred contractors in Florida — a designation held by the top 1% of roofing contractors nationwide — and a trusted roofing partner for insurance carriers, adjusters, and thousands of Florida homeowners.
